Sod is Here,
The sod arrived today. I had just finished raking all the leaves that had fallen from the last storm when the truck rolled up at about 2 PM. So I watered the ground an started laying sod.
I got 1 and 2/3 pallets down before it got dark. It takes about 2 hours to lay one pallet. The individual pieces are not heavy and this work is not difficult at all. I should be able to get the rest down tomorrow. We will see.
I’m pleased with the way the sod looks. It seems to be good quality and it isn’t all dried out. I don’t think the 5 pallets will be enough to fill the whole lawn area so I will probably break some up into sprigs and fill in whatever area the sod doesn’t cover.

Well Bro It's probably a good think it got dark. When the doctor said take it easy, I think he meant TAKE IT EASY.
