3 Birthdays and a Wedding

Since I was with just about everyone who reads this blog this past weekend there is no need to provide a detailed description of the wonderful birthday dinner that Penny organized for us at Buca di Beppa in Brandon. I know I had a great time sitting next to my 2 precious daughters, staring into the Pope’s face and stuffing myself with all sorts of Italian food. Of course there was still room for desert—chocolate cherry cannoli cake, one of Penny’s many specialties. Sophie was in a great mood and enjoyed her bite of cake.

Sunday was the wedding of Tory and Sam. We got to see much of the McClure branch of the family (the Shooks and Nelsons). The wedding was nice. Tory and Sam looked very comfortable with one another and despite a few bumps in the peripheral items the wedding ceremony itself was heartwarming. Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Nelson.

We have about 475 pictures from the weekend, most of those being of the wedding. I’ll be sifting through them this week and sending the better ones to Meme when I’m through.

Kitty Update—Only Velcro has been out there for food for the 2 nights we’ve been back. I did see Buzz last night but not at feeding time. M&M remain unaccounted for .
