I shou1d have known when I woke up that it was not going to be a great day. My cold that I thought was fading was acting up, I was getting a cold sore, my thumbs were extra sore from doing laundry yesterday and the pain in my back had migrated to my neck and shoulder and was worse not better. I helped things along by spilling a full glass of cranberry juice all over the stove, down the front of it and onto the floor. The juice was for taking my morning pills that now lay in the puddle of juice on top of the stove. At least I didn’t forget to put the cup under the coffee maker and fill the counter with fresh brewed coffee like I did on Friday morning.
The day wasn’t all bad. Yes, I hurt but I did finish working on the Kitchen Island. I also shared a chat with a very happy Sophie. She’s in a cute stage and it was fun hearing her.
I decided to quit early today because my hands and back ached at everything I tried to do. I soaked in a hot tub and that helped a little and now I’m lying down as I type this.
