Happy Labor Day Weekend. Weather-wise it’s a bust for us. Tropical storm Lee formed in the Gulf and is going nowhere fast. WE may not see the Sun until Wednesday and may see more than 10 inches of rain and tropical force winds. That’s no biggie for us but it is not an outdoor weekend.
So far we haven’t seen any rain and the forecasts have most of the storm going west of us. We will only know what we get when we get it.
I got good news yesterday about my EGD. There are no serious problems in my esophagus. I don’t need another test until 3 years.
I’m paying more attention to my thumb pain as I count down to the surgery. The pain factors into all my little decisions—should I wait to take my shoes off? I may need to go outside later and that would mean the pain of taking them off and putting them on again. Should I shake hands in church and take the pain? Do I really need to seal this zip lock container?
Hopefully pain will be a small factor in decisions after the surgeries.
