Penny chose our favorite little Hawaiian restaurant (Papa Nalu Aloha Grill) for her Mother’s Day lunch. We celebrated yesterday to avoid crowds. We had a great visit and the food was the usual fantastic.
We even stopped at a couple of antique malls on the way home followed by a MacDonald's hot fudge sundae for our 3 o’clock snack.
The sunset looked OK so we went to our heron picture spot and took lots of pictures. Here are some of mine:
Penny got the best shot of the night when she caught two herons squabbling over a perch.
Talk about angry birds!
We had a good day with lots of time together.
