Little Hands
Little hands that hold the future,
Little feet to kick Mom’s rib.
A loving room prepared to meet her,
In pink and green with hand-made crib.
Her little cheeks, soon to be kissed.
Mom’s pregnant belly, soon to be missed?
We all await her soon appearance,
Karen, how long will this persist?
A little while and she’ll be here,
Calls will go out both far and near.
A little family increased by one,
Their little girl. so sweet, so dear.
Little hands to hold Mom’s finger,
Little feet to kick the air.
A loving family to receive her,
And God receives our thankful prayer.
