They Come in Threes,


OK Karen, You can have the baby now. Last night our house air conditioner died. In actuality only the blower motor on the outside unit quit. The timing was what you would expect – a Sunday service call with the additional fee. This is the 3rd thing to break this week. If this had happened when we were out of town the inside A/C unit would have run full time, the outside compressor might have been destroyed and we would have returned to a very warm house, monster electric bill and at least a $2,000 expense to replace the outside unit. So Karen thanks for waiting. I know it’s been rough.

Earlier this week the hard drive on my laptop started to die. I haven’t turned it off all week and so far it is still working. The new hard drive is in transit and should arrive by Tuesday. Yesterday I started straightening and cleaning up the shop after the big crib project and found my shop vac was kaput.

So the set of 3 occurrences is complete now with the A/C quitting.

The A/C is fixed now and once again cooling the house. Penny and I slept in the sunroom last night because it has its own A/C unit. Neither of us got good sleep. Now that the A/C is fixed a nap sounds good.
