One Fewer Raccoon.

I spent most of the last 2 nights sleeping in the sunroom waiting for raccoons to show up. Yesterday 2 showed but only 1—a little one actually entered the trap. I waited to see if the 2nd one would join it but it didn’t. Something spooked them and in a flash they were gone. Those critters can really move when they want to.

Last night the little one came back—but not until 5AM. It was alone so when he went inside the trap I sprung it.

I released it in the usual spot.

I also caught another opossum in the live animal trap. I released him with the raccoon.

If we are here tonight I will try again for the big one.
