I did get back to the kitchen island today and got it finished except for final sanding, painting and handles. Here are pictures.

March 4th
I haven’t been blogging because I haven’t done much that is blogworthy. I’ve been putting full time into building the kitchen island-until yesterday. Yesterday was Penny’s day. We celebrated her birthday doing things she likes to do. We went to Pensacola, ate at Red Robin, went to Hobby Lobby and a fabric store. We continued the celebration today (her actual birthday) with pecan waffles for breakfast, Slick Mick’s for lunch and amaretto coffee after a small dinner.

That is FANTASTIC! I really don't know what to say, I am always amazed by your skills, I couldn't be happier with it. One day I will find a way to return in kind. (though most likely not with woodworking, I'm just not that good) Excellent!
