Walt

Tonight we were treated once again to Walt Richardson giving the homily in church. Walt is getting frail and he had to sit while he talked—he can’t stand for long. He joked when he sat saying he couldn’t stand for the 35-minutes he would be talking. He was kidding about the time. He still has some fire in his belly and he did sing a little for us.


I found it symbolic that the song that was played after the homily was “How Great Thou Art”. That’s Walt’s favorite to sing. Instead of singing Walt just hobbled off the stage walking with his cane now.
