It took the computer 24 hours to back up files and reload factory image. I haven’t powered it down yet to see if it was successful. I’ll do that when I get off the treadmill. If the recovery is successful I will have to reload my anti-virus protection and any other software I have added. I manually backed up all my picture files, documents, etc.. about 2 weeks ago because the computer was beginning to act a little squirrelly. I’ve got that backup and the one the computer just made for most of the important stuff.
UPDATE- the computer works.
I got a clean bill of health from the Dr. today—just bad thumbs and some weight to worry about.
No work on the kitchen island today. Instead I did some of my full time job, housework.
I assembled the mechanical duck toy I got for Christmas. Here is a video of it strutting its stuff.
