Home Again – In Bed With a Cold
We are back at home now and my cold only got worse as I got closer to home. I decided to do the minimum necessary and then get in bed. I thought this cold was getting better until we landed in Jacksonville and the humid air. Apparently the dry desert air helps sooth cold symptoms. I don’t know if this cold is from Sophie or a reaction to all the fine dust and polen we breathed on the trip to the West Rim of the Grand Canyon. Kathy got a scratchy throat about the same time but hers went away. I’m happy for you, Sis.
I was only joking about not writing about Vegas. I will—but I’ll do it in installments. We had a wonderful week out there, we did everything we planned for and then some. Kathy said it would have taken her 3 weeks to do what we did if she did the planning.
We arrived home to find all in order. The house is OK. The cat feeder did fine. The garden took off. I’m amazed at how much growth took place in 1 week. One worry is that one tomato plant has wilted. Wilt is what destroyed my tomatoes last year. I need to pull up that plant and get rid of it.

Now I’m going to sleep. Goodnight.
