We started Friday in the normal manner with a visit to Target. I was worn out by that trip because of my cold. I put my feet up for a while at home before we headed out to Sam’s. We were completely out of cat food for the outside cats. The cat feeder dispensed its final supply yesterday—which means with the current setting it can feed for 10 days. I’m going to have to make a larger food bin if we make any 2-week trips.
After the Sam’s trip I retreated to my recliner (which still smells like brother Louie’s cologne) where I plan to spend most of the remaining day. My cold is a little better today and improving slowly. My appetite is fine so I am feeding my cold. So far I have resisted the urge to eat lots of ice cream.
Since I feel OK when I just lounge around and I don’t feel like I need to sleep I’ll start my recounting of our trip to Las Vegas—one day at a time
