Another Leak

I seem to be plagued with leaky issues this month. First it was the A/C. Then protecting the outside storage. Today I mowed the lawn and found it wet and squishy around the water meter. The city water guy took a look at it just before we got a rainstorm—not a fun time to be working outside. He said they would come out and fix it in the morning.

I took advantage of the thunderstorm to do something I haven’t done in a while—take an afternoon nap. I couldn’t do laundry or work on the computer because of the lightning. I’m still a little tired from my “indigestion” incident yesterday. So a nap seemed good and it was.

We finished up with our FOCCUS couple this evening. They seem to be a caring couple and we actually saw them learning and using some of the relationship skills we discussed with them. They gave us a thank you card with an Olive Garden gift card inside. They are going to go to an Engaged Encounter weekend in August, too. They seem to be taking advantage of everything that is available to them to prepare for marriage. I think that’s good. I wish them well in their life together.

KITTY UPDATE—We still have 4 cats showing up on and off each evening. Sunday it was Buzz and Meredith. Monday it was Velcro and Meredith. Tuesday only Meredith showed. Tonight Marmalade, Velcro and Meredith. Meredith seems to be the only regular. The feeder is still working fine. I haven’t seen any signs of other critters out there. I think I finally got all the raccoons and haven’t seen any possum in a while.

The big event tomorrow—haircuts.
