We have our new A/C installed. That about describes Saturday. The workmen showed up promptly at 0730. They were polite an efficient and were done shortly after noon. Both the inside and outside units are much quieter than their predecessors. It will be interesting to see if our power bill is affected significantly. So far the A/C seems to be keeping the place comfortable. There’s no reason it shouldn’t but it is new and we have to see if it has any defects.
We also went to church this evening. We are getting another couple to do FOCCUS with. That makes us seeing 3 couples at the same time. Penny mentioned to the deacon that assigns us the couples that we can do this but if the load stays this full we could use some help. That translated into him telling the priest to give us an atta-boy from the pulpit.
Tomorrow is the first day in a while where we have the day open. No couples, no leaky A/C, no bad reactions to pizza, nothing we have to do. We would kayak or bike ride but every day we’ve had nasty thunderstorms. I know I don’t want to kayak in a thunderstorm. At least tonight I should sleep OK without worrying about a flooded carpet or the unknowns of replacing the A/C.
