Slow Sunday

I made egg in a basket this morning using some wonderful Italian bread we got at Fresh Market last week. It makes a tasty breakfast. Penny’s health wasn’t good today so biking or kayaking was out.

I still have to finish moving our old computer to Penny’s sewing room and set up the new computer in the den. I have to modify the shelf unit in Penny’s room so the monitor will fit. I originally built the shelf unit probably 20+ years ago. So that’s what I did today after a leisurely morning reading the Sunday paper and spending time with Penny.

Tonight the mod is finished. Tomorrow I’ll finish the move and set-up. Along with the new computer I’m going to set up the new wireless router we got about a month ago. I wasn’t able to get it working with all the computers then. Hopefully I will succeed tomorrow. It’s supposed to have better range than our current one has and it is the new wireless-n format. I got it so I could use my laptop in our bedroom consistently.

Since that failed attempt to set up the new router my computer has been connecting to the Internet consistently from the bedroom with the old router. Go figure.
