Father's Day 2010

We didn’t do anything special for Father’s Day. I used the day to catch up on the laundry—Penny worked on her quilt. We’ll pick a day this week and go to lunch to celebrate.


I did take a break and take a sunset beach walk. The beach is mostly clean. There are tar balls in the sand, well aged and widely scattered. They are easy to avoid. It would be nice if this is the worst we got but the 60 days of oil that have gushed into the Gulf has to go somewhere.

The beach was relaxing. Sunset, people and airplanes.
