BLTs, Pasta Cruda, home grown tomatoes, cucumber and peppers in our salads—we are in the harvest season. I counted 26 tomatoes on 1 plant today, 15 on another and 10 on a third. The only issue is that we are currently in a prolonged hot spell. It’s been 95 plus degrees feeling like 105 and tomatoes don’t do well in that heat. Now the question is how many tomatoes will ripen before the heat gets to the plants.
