Diet Update

It is week 6 of the diet.  I’ve lost 15 lbs but it is hard to see where.  I’ve got lots of extra weight hanging on my bones.

After using Tim’s dehydrator to make turkey jerky (a very useful and convenient source of protein)  I decided to get a dehydrator.  I got the same model Tim has.  Karen did the research and picked out a good one for Tim and I just piggybacked on her research.

We also found a jerky making kit on clearance at Wal-Mart.  Here’s what the equipment looks like.

On the garden front most of the plants seem to be growing fine.  It won’t be long until we get some lettuce from the garden.  Here are some pics.
