Ready to Go

The bags are packed, the car is gassed and ready, the cat feeder is full and the lawn is mowed. I think we are ready for our trip. That’s been the main agenda for the past couple of days so there is not much to write about. I am not taking my computer with us—there is a $10/day surcharge at the hotel for Internet access.

Brie was quite helpful in the packing process. She sat on, jumped up on or crawled into everything at the most inopportune times. The outside cats have been out there regularly each evening for this whole week. We will see how they take our being away.

According to my GPS Karen is 292 miles from me. Kathy is 297 miles. Christy is 244 miles. We will be seeing you all over the next couple of days. Meanwhile my blog will go dark.
