Ouch

I hurt all over. I spent the day working in the yard and now I’m paying for it. Tonight in church , being Palm Sunday weekend, we had to stand while the Passion was read. Standing like that usually is no problem but today I had to keep shifting my weight. First a knee would hurt, then a hip, then the back and sometimes all three. On top of that the old thumbs are telling me they are there 100 % of the time. What a drag it is growing old!

We’ve had 2 nice days in a row and I made full use of them. The garden is in and the front yard is about half done. Tomorrow the weather is iffy. The clouds today didn’t indicate rain was imminent but the forecast is for scattered storms with a 50% chance of rain. If the weather holds I’ll finish the yard and move on to the next task.

I’m going to relax for the rest of the evening and put some ice on my thumbs
