A Garden Report

I just finished making a trestle for the watermelon, cucumber and squash plants to grow on and I thought I would report on the state of the garden.

I’ve let the sage plant blossom because it is pretty.

Anybody want some basil—the plants are beautiful .

The first cherry tomatoes have formed.

There are lots of blossoms on the cherry tomato plants.



The Japanese eggplant is forming fruit.


The regular eggplant is forming a fruit.

Green peppers are beginning to form fruit.



The 6 tomato plants are just beginning to form flowers.

The 3 vine plants haven’t had any flowers yet but they are close.

All the herbs are doing great. We cut back the cilantro and it is growing back in nicely. That’s the most difficult plant for me to grow.


Marmalade kept an eye on me today.
