What’s in a Name?

We no longer have a war on terror, oops man-made disasters.

Cheating on taxes is an honest mistake (unless you are someone we don’t like).

We are not drifting to socialism with Obama.

The economy will turn around this year.

We will not have a huge wave of inflation caused by the government spending, oops stimulus package.

The government will not decide what salary is appropriate for you.

The government will still allow you to buy the car you want to have.

Government can manage the health care system—just like they handle the DMV or social security.

Iran isn’t going nuclear- we will talk them out of it.

North Korea wont launch a nuclear weapon- we will talk them out of it.

It doesn’t matter what the constitution says—I’m right so I can do it.

This is what happens when we elect leaders on hope and feelings instead of performance and record. Then again who is out there to elect on performance and record? I just don’t like where they are taking us and why people are going willingly.

Maybe today they will just say “April Fool” and then start doing what is good for this country to survive. Maybe another “man made disaster” will bring us back to our senses –or push us off the cliff. ( the bad weather really has me ranting today!)
